The staff at Summit Physiotherapy is a team of experienced Physical Therapists and Massage Therapists, most who have been practicing for over 20 years. Our Therapists are extremely competent, friendly and use a wide range of treatment techniques for all types of physical ailments. We treat sports injuries, soft tissue injuries resulti ng from motor vehicle accidents, chronic pain including fibromyalgia, post-operative issues, arthritis and the everyday aches and pains. We pride ourselves in offering a well-balanced treatment plan that takes a hands-on approach. This includes: working the soft tissues with a series of techniques called Myofascial Release, acupuncture, Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS), visceral manipulation, Cranio-sacral Therapy, home exercise programs, and traditional electro-modalities such as ultrasound and TENS. Education is a big part of Chad's professional life. After receiving his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology from Concordia University, he completed his physiotherapy degree in 2003, graduating with academic distinction from the University of Alberta. Since then, Chad has taken courses in Intramuscular stimulation (IMS), orthopedic treatment and assessment, spinal manipulation, myofascial release and visceral release, sports/neuroproprioceptive taping, running technique and injuries and education in fitting and prescribing orthotics.
