Locally owned and operated, we have been climbing since the early 90s, have contributed countless hours to non-profits advocacy, youth, and the climbing community. Aaron and Lisa Gibson are the owners of Climb Up in OKC and in Norman. Aaron is a native Oklahoma and began climbing when he was 16. He grew up climbing in and building his own home climbing gyms as well as climbing outside in the Wichita Mountains of Oklahoma and later across the country. As a competitive climber he developed a love for climbing competitions, indoor climbing and later, coaching. Aaron is a founder of the Oklahoma Climbing Team (est 2008) and the coach of the OU Climbing Team. His wife, Lisa, is co-owner and her love of climbing grew from her passion for the outdoors growing up in Tennessee and Alabama. Lisa moved to Oklahoma shortly after meeting Aaron in 1999 and her love for climbing blossomed from there. Aaron and Lisa spend time climbing together - when they are not running the gyms!
