About the Business

My Grandfather, John Sieverts emigrated from Holland when he was 11 years old. He started out cleaning the coal furnaces that were popular at that time. The technology advanced and natural gas heating came into vogue. These more complex systems required more technical service. Fast forward a decade and enter Reed Sieverts, John's second eldest son. He worked for John until he went out on his own to form Summit Heating and Electric in 1960 with his brother. Finally in 1979, Reed moved up to Park City and we have been here ever since. In 2008, Cody Sieverts, Reed's youngest son purchased the business and has been continuing the family tradition to present day.
