About the Business
Herman Cunha started State Auto Body Inc. in 1994. After years of repairing auto bodies for others, he saw a need for a body shop that emphasized customer satisfaction. First one frame machine, then a new spray booth, and then a second computerized frame machine by Car-O-Liner were added. Most recently, we've added a Spies Hecker computerized paint mix system to guarantee a perfect paint match.

Herman grew up with old school body men: his uncle, cousin, and older brother all were auto body repairmen. Herman began working in the trade at age 15 and has continued ever since. He's done virtually every job that's required to repair a car, from frame straightening to custom paint. His paintwork has consistently won national best in show awards.
