The seeds of horticulture planted from a very young age. My family owned the Walled Nursery in Hawkhurst Kent. From a young age i was religiously taken each weekend and through many of the school holidays, to help at the nursery. Potting up and pricking out bedding plants and general watering and weeding duties were how my free time as a young boy was spent.
