About the Business

In 2002 the company relocated to a showroom in Dragonville, Durham bringing our Mazda franchise from South Church, Bishop Auckland.

A year later we took on the SEAT franchise and moved into an existing showroom at Langley Bridge, County Durham. In the meantime a new multi-franchise showroom was being built at Bishop Auckland which would be home to Hyundai & Fiat.

Around 2007 the company sold the Bishop Auckland site to a Ford franchise and relocated Fiat to Darlington and Hyundai to the Langley Bridge showroom. The move allowed SG Petch to established itself in Durham with Hyundai, Mazda and SEAT.

In 2010 the company built a state of the art showroom at Broomside Park, Belmont Industrial Estate, moving Hyundai, Mazda and SEAT under one roof. Shortly after, the company added the Nissan franchise.

In 2014 a new state of the art showroom was built alongside the existing building and is the new home of Nissan.
