About the Business

Sew Biz began as a partnership of two young women who were cousins and recent college graduates. The present owner began as their employee about six months later and purchased the business from them in September of 1983. The shop was located on 5th Street near Marquette Ave until 2014, when we moved to our present location at 706 Second Avenue South, street level.
