About the Business

I don't like laptops that are broken. So I decided one day that every ugly, broken, and old laptop I came across, I would fix it. That was over 10 years ago and I've been repairing windows laptops since then. Starting off as "The Laptop Repairman" in 2013, and in 2019 I restructured, reworked and renamed the business. Scraptops was born.

I got my first computer in 2000 and I fell in love. I wanted to know everything about the internet and computers and how they worked. With the help of the internet, mentors, and lots of trial and error, I taught myself how to fix common computer issues. When I started I would randomly break down and reassemble old desktops and laptops I came across, for practice. Over 20 years later I’m still doing the same thing.
