About the Business

Hailing from Southern China we, The Chen Family, have been in the restaurant business for over 60 years. The lineage of chefs in our family goes back even further. Our roots are humble, starting with sidewalk food stands in 1950's China to a small local restaurant in the 80's and then restaurant partnerships in the United States (specifically, New York City) in the 90's to now our beloved Ruby Chen's in the amazing city of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

All restaurants serve food but we serve Chinese food with quickness, freshness, and authenticity that can't be beat. We have an open kitchen to showcase what we do and how we do it. When it comes to great Asian cuisine, one name comes to mind in the Fort Lauderdale area and that's Ruby Chen's.
