I first started massaging 20 years ago when massage was emerging as a complementary therapy to existing mainstream therapies. I created a healing centre in Williamstown in 1998, the Blue Centre. It was one of the first of its kind with many forms of bodywork, energetic healings and counselling services. We conducted workshops and sold material that supported our philosophy of teaching others to heal the mind, body and spirit. After selling the centre and getting a 'real job' for several years, I had a much yearned for 'gap year' during which I travelled and studied and did odd jobs. Hey! It was a gap year - thirty years in the making!I I returned to serious work via corporate massage in 2011, working for a number of companies. I now have my own, Rewards at Work and it's good to be back in the saddle of being self-employed.
