Salon Canton began the voyage in 1968. His first captain, Arturo Acon, arrived in Venezuela from Southern China, after a stopover in New York. In the cellars of his ship he brought his Cantonese food tradition and a dream: To delight Venezuelan diners with the unmistakable quality of its cuisine.

In 1996 the second-generation family received command and revolutionized what was until then Chinese food. The extraordinary harmony of Cantonese flavors selected and adapted to western tastes; a succession of delicacies designed to offer diners a fresh dining experience. A celebration that unites traditional and contemporary. The innovative concept has been widely accepted.
