Whether you are seeking massage therapy to alleviate pain, address a specific muscular injury, or just to relax, my integrative approach to massage and individualized sessions can be greatly beneficial to you! I believe in creating individualized integrative massage session plans for each client to address their specific needs. Currently I am offering 30, 60, 75, and 90 minute Integrative massage sessions. What is Integrative Massage? Integrative massage is a style of bodywork that involves incorporating a variety of modalities and techniques to suit the individual needs and goals of the client. My work is based on the philosophy that each individual is unique as well as the understanding that all aspects of our being- mind, physical body, emotions, and spirit- are interconnected. By weaving together a blend of techniques, this work is able to address the specific needs of the client and promote healing and balance on every level. I have training in a variety of massage and healing modalities including: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Shiatsu, Usui Reiki, Acupressure, Polarity Therapy, Prenatal Massage, Cupping, Hot Stone Massage, Salt Stone massage and Aromatherapy. I'm an avid and passionate student and regularly pursue additional training and learning in the healing arts to incorporate into my work. Rachel has been practicing massage therapy since 2010. She is a graduate of the National Holistic Institute in Sacramento, CA. Rachel is passionate about holistic wellness, in addition to being a massage therapist she also holds a B.A in Sociology and an M.S. in Mental Health Counseling. She is also a Reiki practitioner.
