About the Business

Rachel & Rose is a tribute to both of my grandmothers. I decided to name the business after both of them because the bus is basically two businesses. Coffee shop in the morning and pub at night. I bought the bus from a gentleman in Salt Lake City. He was running a touring company with double decker buses and the pandemic hit home hard. After many attempts to get the bus over the Rocky Mountains we decided that shipping a bus from London would be easier. The bus set sail from South Hampton, England. The same port as the Titanic. It sailed across the Atlantic Ocean, through the Panama Canal and Docked at Port Hueneme in Oxnard, CA. Then it was driven to St Johns where I spent 18 months turning it into the pub.
