About the Business

We incorporated as Rammed Earth Development, Inc in 1994. In 2012, we changed our company name to PureBuild Inc. better reflect the scope of work we do. We design and build fine custom homes throughout southern Arizona using a variety of energy efficient wall systems, including rammed earth, adobe, concrete block masonry and ICF. We also are licensed in Arizona and California as a rammed earth wall subcontractor.

Since 1994, PureBuild has built unique homes in Tucson and Southern Arizona. Our team works with you to create quality homes that are beautiful, functional, sustainable - whether we build in a remote desert locale, in Tucson's Mercado District or in a premier subdivision. We design and build houses using regional materials (including adobe and rammed earth), energy-efficient techniques and authentic details.

After gaining a Bachelor's in Architecture at University of Michigan, Tom headed west following his interests in Energy Efficiency leading him to obtain a masters in Environmental Planning at ASU.  Travels in Mexico and Europe have influenced his design aesthetic.
