I have been employed in the construction industry since I was 14 years old. The first trade I learned was masonry, being from a family of well known and respected masons. After about 8 years of experience in masonry, I was doing exceedingly well, so I decided that knowing one trade wasn't enough. I then began to learn carpentry and spent the next few years in that trade. I still wasn't satisfied, and felt like there was still more knowledge to obtain, so I enrolled myself in a program to learn electrical. After receiving my certification, I was employed in the field for several years, hanging sheet rock when I was laid off intermittently. After some time, I realized that I wanted consistent work and got a full-time job in a company where I began to supervise crews. My results and work ethic were complimented constantly, so I took a leap one day and started my own company. Since then I've been striving to make it better and so far am very happy with the outcome.
