About the Business

After spending 2 years on Christmas Island, Lio and Ryan had a following of fellow security, nurses and AFP who they had trained regularly. Making use of the local outdoor basketball court, basic equipment, body weight exercises and their extensive knowledge, experience and creativity they were able to help guide a diverse group of people to greatly improve on their fitness, strength and general well being. The group training environment meant that everyone was held accountable to show up to training but more importantly these co workers, training partners and friends ultimately helped motivate each other to extend themselves and achieve new goals.

Born from this concept is Polypride Fitness Centre. Creating a community feeling where everyone feels comfortable and welcome in a positive and encouraging environment is of great importance. Lio and Ryan will use their experience and knowledge to guide you on your fitness journey and help you keep achieving new goals.

Punch Fit -1hr Our Punch Fit group fitness classes start with a warm up to prepare the body for an intense workout using a mixture of boxing and body weight exercises and finish with full body stretching. This class is a great and fun way to improve your cardiovascular fitness. This class is solely focussed on using elements from boxing for fitness and is not for fighters. F.A.S.T. Circuit (Functional and Strength Training) -1hr Resistance training circuit using a variety of equipment and body weight exercises to increase your strength, fitness and agility. TRX, kettle bells, battle ropes, barbells, medicine balls and plyo boxes are some of your tools in this one. Personal Coaching -1HR You can request specific training in relation to you personal goals. Whether you want to hone your boxing or weights technique or you are training for a trek like the Kokoda trail or the next obstacle course we can guide you.
