Servicing the Durham region, Plato's Closet buys and sells gently used casual clothing and accessories for the teen's & twentysomethings. We pay cash on the spot for your gently used items in good to excellent condition. Styles should be no more than 1.5 to 2 years old, laundered and without hangers. We buy all seasons all day every day, no appointment necessary and we work on a first come first served basis. Please avoid bringing in items that are dirty or stained, have broken zips or missing buttons, pet hair, cigarette odour, etc. as we pass on all such items and it helps to reduce the wait time for us to process your buy. We retail between 50 to 70% off regular retail prices.....and offer you between 30 to 40% of our retail price. If you don't come in to sell to us, come in to browse our incredible selection.....you'll be pleasantly surprised!!!

We also buy and sell accessories such as purses, belts, shoes, scarves, etc. Items should be no more than 18 - 24 months old, and freshly laundered, in order to secure a higher price that we can offer to you, our valued customer.
