About the Business

Pigment began as an idea between husband-and-wife duo Chad Anglin and Amy Paul. Longtime residents of San Diego's North Park neighborhood, the two decided to open up shop in 2007, initially as a way to showcase Amy's artwork. Though the space was originally envisioned as more of a gallery, they began to stock a carefully curated selection of design-conscious goods. It wasn't long until the 1,500 square foot space flourished into a full-scale concept shop with an organic modern aesthetic. Inspired heavily by nature and their love of good design, Chad and Amy have grown Pigment into a one-stop shop for art, flora and thoughtful gifts, including plenty of locally made goods alongside globally recognized brands.
