Phoenix Cafe first opened in 2001 by Ren "John" and Lisa Wu. Originally from Guangzhou, China, John has been learning the art of Chinese cuisine for several decades focusing primarily on southern region Cantonese cooking. The Wu family first moved to Houston, TX, but relocated to San Antonio in hopes of a new and successful restaurant and here we are now! More than a decade later and proudly serving San Antonio.
