Pete Heliotis came to America in 1976 from Greece. Before leaving Greece Pete went to school for 4 years in aumtoive repair. He also worked in a repair shop for 5 years as an apprentice learning his trade which quickly became his passion. When coming to America at age 18 he knew he wanted to work with cars, fixing automobiles became his obsession. At first he was working as a bus boy in a small restaurant for a month and he made a great friend who gave him the opening to working on automobiles in Chicago Illinois. Pete quickly leaped to the opportunity to do the main thing that came naturally to him- Fixing cars & building lasting relationships. In 1995 he had the opportunity to open his own business located in the heart of Jefferson Park. He since has continued to serve families all across the nation on fixing their vehicles. When walking into Pete's Automovite Inc. you realize this is a family owned buisness which keeps your safety at heart.
