Perch'd was birthed initially as the very first cargo shipping container concept in Oklahoma City, located in Auto Alley. Recognized by The Oklahoman and News 9 it sparked a lot of interest in a growing city. Perch'd began as a small retail space which then formed into a small design management business, while pushing boundaries by helping create inviting and functional spaces.
Perch'd takes a max of 4-6 clients at a time for attention to detail and expedited service.

Sunshine's passion for design began as a little girl playing a lot with a big 2 story dollhouse her grandmother gifted her, as well as all the furniture along the way that sparked childlike joy and imagination. As Sunshine grew, her young adult years took her into the magazine publishing world working directly under the Publisher with Los Angeles magazine for 6+ years before becoming a mother and running a high end cabinet shop in Los Angeles (a family business). A few years after motherhood, Sunshine landed a small project working for the leading modern architecture and design magazine Dwell, this small project ultimately locked her in with DwellMedia for 10+ years serving different roles. The time Sunshine spent with Dwell caused her to eventually pivot and pursue her passion for modern design and project management by utilizing her background saturated in the design world along with her business experience and time in the construction business.
