About the Business

Peppinos first opened its doors in September 1997 by the then owner Mr Nami. Charminster Road back then was mostly made of of convenience stores with only a couple of restaurants and bars. The original restaurant only occupied what you see to the left of the bar area. Peppinos soon established itself as a popular successful well run Italian restaurant and before long expanded next door to occupy what you now see as the entire bar area. In 2008 after 11 successful years of trading it expanded again into what is now the restaurant area and was extensively refurbished into a modern contemporary restaurant and bar that you see today. It set the standard for the Charminster road area which other bars & restaurants have tried to copy. Since 2008 Charminster Road has steadily increased it's number on eating & drinking establishments and has gained a popular reputation throughout the area. Peppinos was taken over by its new owners in 2012 and only minor changes and improvements made.
