About the Business

Pepper Twins was originally established in 2015 with the Kirby location opening in 2017.

With the success of running their first family-owned and local restaurant Pepper Twins located in the heart of Montrose, the owners wanted to continue sharing their love and passion for cooking homemade food to everyone and decided to open up another restaurant specializing in premium Szechuan Chinese food in River Oaks, Pearland, Kirby, Katy and Galleria. Their family was very strict on food as they were taught not to eat at any restaurant which is a big problem for "foodies". The owner's sister and owner had to learn how to cook and make delicious food instead of craving for restaurant food. Now that Pepper Twins is open and more spacious, our guests have more to choose from and dine at. The Pepper Twins logo's design was inspired by her son and daughter, who although are not twins, they have a common shared love for Sichuan food and peppercorns.

Located in upper Kirby, Pepper Twins offers premium Chinese cuisine. Pepper Twins concentrates on natural ingredients to match the great flavors. We have traditional Chinese herb infused into the food and adjusts the seasonal balance for your body. Pepper Twins is BYOB with a small corking fee. We serve certified angus beef, Berkshire pork, tilapia fish, organic eggs and halal lamb and chicken. What's unique about our food is that the best fresh peppercorn is imported from our hometown-Chongqing every 3 months. Please try us out and enjoy our spicy and tingling food!

Yunan's motto is "you are what you eat" and that to her "delicious and healthy food means everything!" Although her background and previous life was dedicated in cancer research on PET/CT and the drugs used for cancer, she realized it was taking a toll on her body and she was out on a mission to tell the world that eating healthy (as well as getting enough sleep and exercising) will ultimately be your cure and increase your happiness. Yunan loved homemade cooking and wanted others to enjoy the experience and love of Chinese cuisine (especially from their hometown Chong Qing) so they wanted to spread the happiness and joy of eating authentic homemade food and decided to open the initial restaurant located in Montrose.
