About the Business

In 1979 my father fulfilled his dream of starting his own garage business after having worked for more than 25 years for someone else. After the construction of the building was done, we focused our energy on building a reputation of honest work for good value. That ethos has remained to this day as we celebrate more than 30 years of serving Victoria's automotive needs. We currently have 3 fully licensed technicians and 2 apprentices all well versed in every make of car, truck or van.

I started learning the automotive trade from my father having grown up the son of a mechanic.  It came very naturally to watch, ask, help him since I was a small boy.  As I grew, so did my passion with cars and once I graduated from high school I set out working at a dealership to start my apprenticeship.  When my father was ready to strike out at his own garage, I joined him and together along with other staff built Parkside to where it is today.  After more than 30 years in this trade, I find that I am still learning. The automotive field is in constant change with all the newest technologies that are coming out. My staff and I try to take in as many courses as we can to keep up with it all.  Cars are still a passion for me.
