About the Business

PSI's Founder & President, Aaron Shocket, was a bar back for an upscale Cincinnati restaruant during his college summer breaks. One evening after his shift, he noticed that the restaurant's valet service was short handed, so he offered to help. This fateful event was the beginning of Parking Solutions; when Aaron realized that he could drive amazing cars AND get paid to do it, he was sold. After joining the restaurant's parking company, he rose quickly through the ranks even while returning to classes at The Ohio State University.

His mentor was so impressed with his work ethic, he offered to teach Aaron the business. Then in 1991, with less than $1000 and just a junior at OSU, current President Aaron Shocket became an entrepreneur. He received his first valet parking agreement with a local Columbus, Ohio restaurant and has since built upon his knowledge and success to manage over 100 accounts in seven states and 1,400 employees.

Aaron Shocket, President is a true entrepreneur at heart.  While attending The Ohio State University, as a junior in 1991, Aaron started Parking Solutions, Inc., a valet parking service company out of his basement.  After graduating in 1992 with a BA in Political Science, he turned his focus to growing his business.
