About the Business
David started the business with a small tea shop on Chapel Street in Prahran in 1993 and has since grown to become one of Melbourne's favourite tea + yum cha destination. Yum Cha refers to the custom of eating tiny servings of different foods while sipping some well-brewed Chinese Tea. When most people think of Yum Cha they think Sunday lunch time, but the Oriental Tea House stands apart, serving Yum Cha all through the day, seven days a week.
