In 1986 Oporto founder Antonio Cerqueria opened a chicken shop in north Bondi serving Portuguese style chicken with an original Portuguese chilli sauce ...and this is where our story begins....

100% Aussie owned and Portuguese inspired food.

The chicken is amazing quality and taste, not oily or remotely like what you get from a supermarket that sits there all day.

We have chicken wraps with lettuce, tomato, large wrap, light mayo, and two grilled tenderloins - very tasty

We have the double or triple fillet Bondi burger with the original chilli sauce that blends in with the mayo an takes the taste to new heights. Not hot about 6/10 hear wise but a great pick me up and you won’t be left hungry an hour later

As the owner I get daily feedback how tasty the food is and should be more stores it’s that popular. Grilled chicken burgers, crispy chicken strips, spicy chicken balls, awesome burgers and wraps as well as 1/4 and 1/2 chickens meals with choice of side/s. For those who like a bit of a chilli hit , we have the Bondi Burger with 2 grilled chicken fillets some mayo, cheese and the original chilli sauce on a slightly toasted bun. I am wishing I could eat one now. We also offer tasty snacks including chilli cheese chips, jalapeños, potato bites and spicy chicken bites. The chips are cooked fresh and taste amazing as they have a light sprinkling of chicken salt. We have drive thru so if you are heading south on Peninsula Link stop over for a bite to eat. The service centre has plenty of car parking and has a modern food court with plenty of seating and clean restrooms. Our store supports the local CFA at Baxter and we have a collection hat on our front counter Oporto is 100% Australian owned and every dollar spent helps the local economy. We employ 40 staff across the southbound and citybound stores located on the direct opposite side of the freeway. . It's not expensive and is good value for money and you are not left hungry an hour later.
