Shawn has been a Tucson resident since February 1997. His background is in construction - from hands-on trade work to project management of million dollar projects to consulting on construction lawsuits. He began gaining locksmith experience as the facilities manager of the Rialto Building in downtown Tucson during a time of high tenant turnover. Rather than hire out or fully replace hardware he lowered cost by learning to re-key the locks himself. Years later after tiring of management and consulting and desiring to get back to dealing more directly with individual customers he remembered how much he enjoyed those lock changes and went to work for a locksmith company to fully learn the trade. In 2012 he struck out on his own and formed Old Pueblo Locksmith Co, a mobile service dedicated to providing rapid response and high quality work at affordable rates.
