About the Business

Since we first opened, Okanagan Peak Performance has been a resource for athletic conditioning and education. We take a scientific, fact-based approach to fitness and health, keeping up on relevant journals and attending sports medicine conferences so we can pass along cutting-edge training modalities and information to coaches and athletes throughout Western Canada. If you're curious about joining our fitness center, call us or stop by -- we'd love to find a program that suits you perfectly.

Established in 2001.

Specialties

We've been in Kelowna for over two decades, and we've become known in town for a few things. For one, we're a place of healing, helping people with injuries use fitness to feel better. We're also a place of motivation, pushing people toward healthy lifestyles so they look and feel amazing all the time. And we're also a training facility, helping athletes excel in their sport of choice. What unites these things together is that our gym is full of people from all walks of life who motivate each other to be their very best. So, when people ask us what Okanagan Peak Performance is, we tell them it's not just a fitness center -- it's a fitness community.

Business Owner

Chris C. (Business Owner)

Chris has been a local Kelowna resident since 1981, venturing away briefly on exchange to Mexico and to university. He graduated with a Master of Science degree in physiology, which was research-based and resulted in publications in scientific journals. Upon completion of his studies, Chris traveled to Pomona, California, to obtain a strength and conditioning certification (CSCS). Armed with this credential and his scientific background, Chris established Okanagan Peak Performance to enhance both the enjoyment and performance of athletes in the area.
