About the Business

I got started repairing electronics at the age of 12 with a broken DVD player. I've always enjoyed taking things apart.
Fast forward to 2004.
I fell in love with the iPod, the idea of thousands of songs in such a small package really inspired me. Of course iPods are expensive so I figured I'd buy a broken one and pay a small fee to have it repaired by Apple - No such luck. I was told it would be $250 to fix my $300 iPod.
Sooo...
I bought another and created a Frankenstein. I tried selling the remaining parts on Craigslist but kept getting emails from people asking if I could fix their iPods instead. Thus NYCiPodDoctor was born. I come to my clients and repair their iPhones, iPads, iPods, Macbooks, MacBook Pros, and laptops, on the spot in Manhattan. Our most common issue is broken screens - iPhones, iPads, iPods, Macbooks, iMacs, laptops and Macbook Pro's because they are portable have a tendency to be vulnerable to mishaps.
