Born in raised in the restaurant business of the Twin Cities, co founder Tina Suglia is no stranger to hard work Her Italian heritage always brought her great pride, and she was inspired by the great romance of her Grandmother and Grandfather, so she set out to meet and marry a man just like him Born in a small village in South East Italy, co-founder Francesco Suglia was a charming young man with a passion for food. He was inspired by the hours he'd spend with his Nonna and Mama learning how to cook with the ingredients of their region. Dinner at Nonna's was a true delight, one that makes you feel loved, appreciated and adored! After years of training, in various other restaurants, Tina and Francesco, would meet in the Twin Cities. They both share a passion for family, friends, and exceptional food to share with them. It is their hope that all of their guests feel the love, appreciation and adoration that they shared with their Nonnas.

Nonna Rosas is a charming neighborhood italian restaurant owned and operated by a married couple Chef Francesco & Tina Suglia . Their cuisine features italian specialties such as risotto, gnocchi, pasta, fresh seafood and steak. Nonna Rosas is chef driven and inspired by the time spent by the owners growing up in their grandmother's houses. The ambiance is warm and cozy with an open kitchen and a full bar. They also feature a banquet room with muraled scenes of Venice and a spacious eurpean style patio. Nonna Rosas is located in the heart of Robbinsdale's historic business district. Chef Francesco was born in South East Italy's Puglia region.  He has a culinary degree from Bari, Italy and has been traveling the world learning ever since.  He has cooked professionally in North, Central and Southern Italy, Spain, Washington D.C and Los Angelas and the Twin Cities prior to opening his own restaurant with his wife.  He moved to the Twin Cities in December of 2006, and met his wife Tina.  They married in 2007 and make their home in Ramsey, MN.  Together they have one dog named Espresso.
