Noble Rot opened in 2002 with a line out the door. One of the very first wine bars in Portland and one of the first to celebrate the farm to table idea. Noble Rot started out on SE Ankeny in a small space with a garage door. It was a quaint, neighborhood spot, but they needed more space to add liquor to their food and wine program. Noble Rot moved to 1111 E. Burnside in 2009 and never looked back. The space, view, roof top garden and LEED platinum building make it all worth it.
