About the Business

Owner/operator Matt Noble has been honing his skills as a tradesman for since 2002. He learned under his general contractor uncle on high-end bathroom and kitchen remodels in San Francisco's Pacific Heights neighborhood. He met and married Maggie, a native yinzer and moved across the country to set up shop here in Pittsburgh with their two children and rascal dog.

Matt Noble, owner and operator of Noble Improvement, comes from a line of men who worked with their hands. His great grandfather was a mechanic and his grandfather, before becoming a police officer, was a cement layer. His father started as a journeyman electrician and now oversees new construction projects as large as stadiums and hospitals. Matt's interest in building came from his time working for his father, first on projects around the house and in the workshop and later in the drafting room when his father was managing the electrical construction of a new hospital in Los Angeles. From there, Matt moved north to San Francisco where he completed a B.A. in Business at San Francisco State. During that time, he worked as a craftsman for his uncle, a General Contractor. Matt stayed on to work for his uncle full-time for five more years. The team specialized in high-end kitchen and bathroom remodels in the Bay Area.
