About the Business

Once known as the former Mug A Java Beans and Bistro we have now expanded into our new name and home at My Neighbourhood Restaurant. We moved a block down the road from our old location and decided to build from the ground up. Our goal is to biuld our family legacy and one for the neighbourhood, your favorite "neighbourhood restaurant".

We are a family friendly "mom and pop" restaurant. We specialize in all day breakfast the way mom used to make with fluffy pancakes, eggs bennedicts served four different ways, fantastic omelets, homeade biscuits, and our famous freshly cut and panfried BC POTATO hash browns. That's just a breakfast sampling. For lunch we offer many fantastic sandwiches, soups made from scratch ALWAYS, a chili recipe that has been passed down through the generations and fresh out of the oven biscuits the way mom did them. I almost forgot to mention our burgers.... another secret recipe that gets made with love by our devoted cooks and flame broiled to perfection. Bring your appetite for these gems 'cause they are a half pound before they even hit the bun. YUM!!!!
