About the Business

Motorworks Brewing, Bradenton's first craft brewery, was co-founded by Frank and Denise Tschida. As soon as they laid their eyes on the Bradenton property, they knew they had found something special. Home to a Hudson Motors dealership - renowned for outstanding performance and innovative styling - in the late 40s and early 50s, the Motorworks Brewing name was inspired by the building's automotive history along with Frank's Sprint Car/ASA background. The Motorworks Brewing team strives to bring their own imaginative and innovative approach to craft beer to honor their building's storied past.

Since opening in 2014, Motorworks Brewing has quickly become one of the most-awarded breweries in Florida with over 100 national and international medals.With 30 beers on draught, a full liquor bar, an expansive wine collection and a rotating batch of seasonal and specialty brews available in the taproom, Motorworks Brewing is the best place to join friends for a fresh pint of beer or a cocktail.Motorworks Brewing is also home to Florida's largest Beer Garden, where guests can enjoy a beautiful, raised deck surrounding a 150+ year-old oak tree, and play games on our 15+ cornhole sets.Bands perform on our outdoor or indoor music stage every weekend and some weeknights, and we offer food daily from award-winning food trucks and surrounding restaurants.

Denise and Frank Tschida knew from the moment they laid their eyes on the building at 1014 9th Street W. in Bradenton, FL that it would be the perfect spot for their new microbrewery. With Frank's lengthy background in Sprint Car racing (and beer drinking), the location that used to house a Hudson Motors dealership in the 40s and 50s had the capacity, and history, that they were looking for. The building's storied past inspired the name Motorworks Brewing, and just as Hudson Motors was renowned for innovative styling and performance, the Tschidas and the Motorworks Brewing team strive to echo  that very same spirit of innovation and quality by brewing distinct craft beers.
