Montes Trattoria has been serving the patrons of Greenwich Village since 1918. The Mosconi family took over its rich tradition in 1983 and have kept many of the original menu items while adding the flavors of head Chef Pietro Mosconi.

Our Chef was born in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy and offers several house specialties which currently include: Wild Boar with gnocchi Red Snapper Livornese Swordfish alla Caponata Veal or Beef Osso Bucco Homemade Pastas With our recently renovated private party space please inquire about having your event with us up to 50 sit down. We also offer a tasting menu for $45 per person that includes various appetizers, homemade pastas, entrees and desserts
