The brainchild of owner and noodlemaker Andrew Chen, the Monkey King Noodle Company opened its doors in September 2013. Our grand opening is on Saturday, 11/15 at 6:00 pm. Come see us then as we launch our inaugural scheduled dinner service!

After noticing that there was a severe lack of "legit" Chinese food in the Metroplex, Andrew decided to become a disciple of a Master Noodlemaker known only as "Willy", training vigorously for several hours a day for a whole month until he mastered the art of manipulating the elastic strands of glutinous dough into thin, chewy noodles. He pooled together a team of business partners and investors, and after extensively renovating 3014 Main St. in Deep Ellum, opened the doors of the Monkey King Noodle Company to the public in September of 2013. He currently serves as the owner and noodlemaker, and you can catch his dough slinging art through the front window during business hours.
