About the Business

Mon Lung was a failing business needed to be sold quickly from the previous owner. Kay Yuen, the sole proprietor bought this business over and quickly made changes to the menu. Won over customers with free egg rolls with every order. Good food won over the skeptical neighbors and business quickly started to build for him and his family. Kay then moved his business over to 1009 N Ashland where it still operates today. Word of mouth quickly spread and his business grew exponentially over the years. Kay and his family has made room for improvement not only in the food but also the changes in the dining room. What we are trying to create is a place where people can feel welcome and have a good dining experience. We are not a fancy place and we are not trying to be. We are not perfect but we try our very best to be consistent.
