About the Business

Commissioned to Satisfy & created through the many years of Marco and his friends breaking bread with Marco's Secret Onion Burger Recipe at various venues (from tailgates, parties, camp-outs, charity events, etc). One common request throughout was that Marco open a restaurant and/or he was asked "Where is this restaurant?".

So after many conversations and cajoling, planning, back and forth .... the MOB is back in town! Where will the MOB be? Good question; a sure bet is where ever you find the MOB, there will be great food and good times!

MOB now has a brick & mortar location inside upscale food hall and pub, The Parlor OKC, in historic Automobile Alley!

Established in 2004.

Business Owner

Marco M. (Business Owner)

While MOB Grill is a salute to Marco Morrow's fondness for gangster movies and popular culture, the MOB stands for Marco's Onion Burgers. Morrow began making fried-onion burgers because of love. Love of all things Oklahoma and love of a woman who hailed from the fried-onion burger capital of the world (His wife Meredith from El Reno). "Being half Lebanese, I'm used to a lot of spices and lots of very robust flavors"  so before char-pressing onion to beef, MOB Grill applies one nontraditional technique of marinated onions. Marco's secret marinade cleans up the onion's flavors with a little brightness that makes them standout. Marco followed the wisdom he learned from the legendary Ed Thomas, dearly departed founder of iconic Big Ed's Hamburgers using mustard on the bun instead of butter. The hand-cut fries are blanched in oil then fried to perfection upon order. Buns come from La Baguette Bakery, which are among the local products & ingredients that make MOB a Made in Oklahoma business.
