About the Business

We started Miriam's Munchies as a mother and daughter team with a shared passion for baking and creating delicious cakes. What began as a part time passion - baking for our local Farmers Market once a month soon grew into a full time business. Now we regularly attend 8 farmers' markets each month, supply local cafes and bake special celebration cakes and custom logo cupcakes and brownies for corporates to order. Based in Harrow in NW London, we use local and fair trade produce and continue home bake our range of scrumptious sweet and savoury munchies

Delicious homebaked cakes and cupcakes. Baked to order from local, seasonal ingredients. We sell at Farmer's Markets, supply cafe's, corporate gifts, teatime treats and special celebration cakes. We attend the following Farmers' Markets each month - Duck Pond Markets - Farmers on the 1st Sunday each month, Artisan on the 3rd Sunday each month; LFM Ealing on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturday each month; LFM Blackheath on the 2nd and 4th Sunday each month. Cathy started her passion for baking as a young child, and after a degree in Food Science and Marketing, went on to train as a chef in La Varenne in Paris.  Following a successful stint running the kitchen at the Anna Ticho House in Jerusalem, Cathy changed direction into the corporate world at British Airways.  At BA she exploited and honed her marketing skills, whilst the baking became once again a hobby.  After 20 years in the corporate world, Cathy returned to her first love, setting up Miriam's Munchies with her daughter Miriam where they create delicious cakes and treats using local ingredients, most of which are purchased direct from the farmers
