About the Business

Milltown is situated on it's own island in the Fraser River. A highlight is its two patios; one facing the Marina and the other facing the Fraser River and YVR airport's landing strip. The interior of Milltown Bar & Grill boasts true West-coast décor. It can be seen in the walls, which are made out of 100-year-old reclaimed local Douglas Fir wood. Double-sided fireplaces made out of brushed stainless steel contrast against the white subway tiles and massive rope chandeliers. A dropped ceiling above the bar features local wood that was torched, literally set on fire, to give it's rustic look. "It's rustic, industrial, nautical all mixed together. It's really creates a cozy and inviting space." admits Scott McVicker, Co-Owner of Milltown Bar & Grill. Owners, Scott McVicker and Paddy Gallagher, have been in the restaurant industry for 20 and 15 years respectively. They have opened and managed successful local bars and this is their first joint venture as SPirit Hospitality.

We are a friendly and unique destination location. We are on Richmond Island and our address is in Richmond, but you can only get to us from Vancouver. We are a great spot on the water with a unique & lively atmosphere inside and unique airplane and marina views outside. We specialize is good food for good value. Milltown offers great thin crust pizza from our Wood Stone pizza oven to go along with fantastic salads, great pub style appetizers, tasty burgers & sandwiches, creative main meals and amazing weekend brunches. We have great entertainment. Thursdays; live trivia from 8pm. Fridays; Great DJ's from 830pm. Saturdays; Name that Tune live music trivia party from 9pm.
