About the Business

My name is Mike Ball. I have been working in the Houston landscape industry sense 1986. I started (DBA) Mike's Lawn Service at the ambitious age of sixteen by knocking door-to-door and passing out flyers. After seven successful years with the "learn by doing" approach I was given the opportunity to sell my company and join Texas Environments. Under the tutelage of Brian & Rodney Warner I gained a tremendous amount of knowledge, from how to manage multiple crews to Commercial / Residential landscape and maintenance techniques. Since then over the past 13 years I have had a successful career as irrigation manager, operation manager, branch manager and general manager.

My passion is landscape and working with clients and I gain tremendous satisfaction from the smiles on there faces after a completed project. So after getting more joy from working on the weekends then I did during the week, I decided it was time to focus more of my energy into what I love most.
