About the Business

The grand opening of the then East Mesa Branch was held March 5, 1985. It was the first library in Arizona and one of the first in the country to have no card catalog in its collection, instead relying on computerized records.

The branch moved into its current location in 1995 with 50,000 sq ft. to serve its residents.
