About the Business

The history of the Ewing Automotive Group began in 1940 when Bruton Orand took over the management of Morris Buick. He probably didn't know at the time that he was founding a family-owned and operated business that would span over 70 years. When Mr. Orand died in 1961, his son-in-law, Finley Ewing, Jr., took over the business. In 1972, Autohaus, Inc., was formed and became the owner of the newly-awarded Mercedes-Benz franchise. The Orand Buick name was changed to Ewing Buick in 1973. In 1994, Ewing Buick relocated to the present location and by 1997, new facilities were completed for Ewing Buick GMC. Autohaus, Inc., now doing business as Mercedes-Benz of Plano, moved into the extensively remodeled facility. Beginning in October 2015, both businesses moved to brand new, state-of-the-art facilities at Spring Creek Parkway and The Dallas North Tollway in Plano, Texas.
