About the Business

Mel's was introduced to the University Ave population in 1995 and had embedded herself into the community thoroughly when fire took her away in 2010. During her resurrection, a second location was introduced at Ottawa St and Westmount Rd in Kitchener. The Kitchener store plays a role in her own local community supporting hungry student programs and local kids sports teams. She is a full service restaurant open 7am-9pm daily complete with a huge patio and beer and wine license. Mel's Waterloo location re-opened her doors in February of 2013 to a full welcome and incredible community support. We are truly blessed and live to serve. Thank you KW.
