About the Business

The shop was established in 1946 as a friendly, central Austin neighborhood service garage. We pay tribute to the original owner & station's namesake M.E. "Gene" Johnson, who has since passed away. The business was purchased in 1993 by the current owners, Bubba & Tom, who were employed at the garage before purchasing the business. They are here every day to ensure you are treated well and that your vehicle is repaired to your satisfaction.
