My electrical career started in the apprenticeship program for the electrical union. I worked my way up from journeyman to general foreman, managing electrical jobs including the Stanford Linear Accelerator, Genentech and Applied Bio Systems. I also taught and administered OSHA classes and certification for Local 617 (Occupational Safety and Health Administration).
