Man With A Van is a licensed and insured local moving company that began as a way for artists, musicians, and other creatives to pay the rent while pursuing and/or living their dream. We've long since evolved into a "real business" but, true to our roots, continue to provide friendly, honest service at a fair price and to the best of our ability. After coming to Philly in 2015, we liked it so much here we moved our HQ here!

We are fully insured--U.S. DOT # 8917459 PA PUC # A-2015-2472602--which allows us to provide the "Certificate of Insurance" that many buildings require. We also offer furniture assembly, moving container rentals, senior moving, furniture moving, and commercial moving services.

Our crews arrive with dollies, blankets, and shrinkwrap so that we can protect your items, and a basic toolkit so that we can disassemble things like a bed-frame and other furniture. We also sell moving supplies and rent out re-usable boxes. Call us if you want to move a couple of boxes or a piece of furniture, or relocate your office or apartment. We'll give you a great rate with no sneaky extra charges.
