Madame X was started by three women in 1997 - a very fun time to open a bar in New York. We loved throwing parties and decided to make a business of it. Our diverse backgrounds (France, Italy, America) translated into an easy-going attitude that appeals to a very diverse crowd. Just how we like it.

Madame X's specialty is providing a fantastic, affordable ambiance for parties large and small. Our prices are reasonable, the music is on point, our cocktails are amazing, and our staff is big on service and low on attitude (tho' you don't want to push it, they are New Yorkers). There's a delightful garden, heated in winter, and our happy hour lasts till 9 p.m. Reservations: We're happy to reserve a table for larger groups, though there is a fee for this on the weekends. We'll give you a call when we receive the reservation request, or just call Amy directly at 917-568-9069 for faster service. If you don't receive a call or email reply, your reservation is not confirmed. So really, call Amy. She's ridiculously nice.
