Having grown up in this community, our owner Nate saw a real need for a friendly, locally owned repair shop that caters to the Apple community. Too many folks are forced to drive all the way to an Apple Store or risk their device with a cheap, low-quality repair at a kiosk in the mall. Excited for a new challenge, Nate's background at Apple led to the creation of Mad Genius, specializing in Apple Mac & iPhone repairs, with mobile phone accessory sales as well. We use only top quality parts, with Apple Genuine parts available, and all repairs come with a 90 day guarantee!

Nate N. (Business Owner)

Nate started his career at Apple in 2005 as part of the new store opening team for the Apple Store at Pioneer Place. His passion for Apple products quickly earned him the title of Lead Mac Specialist, and shortly after that he was elevated to a store management position. After several years working in the Apple Store, Nate's career took him through management positions in both AppleCare and the Apple Online Store. Always in search of adventure, Nate took a break from Apple when offered an opportunity with Bose Corporation to manage one of their showrooms in Dallas, Texas. In Dallas, Nate started a family, and after five years in Texas, it was time to come back home to Oregon. Wanting to get back into the Apple world, Nate took a store management position with Simply Mac, at their Lloyd Center store, the oldest continually operated Apple sales and service location in Portland. That didn't last too long, as the idea to create Mad Genius went from a crazy idea to reality! Come visit us!
